Haris Lender 500 RYT CYT PYT

Haris (Harini) Lender is a certified Integral Yoga teacher. She is registered with the Yoga Alliance at the 200 level and is currently working on her 500 hour Certification. She teaches Yoga classes in St. Petersburg, Florida, where she lives with her Husband, four children and four dogs. She has been the director of Camp Yogaville (a week long sleep away yoga camp) in Virginia since 2001. She manages to run a growing staff of wonderful counselors and 28 kids while they play, have fun, and practice all aspects of yoga in the beautiful setting of the Satchidananda Ashram, i.e. Yogaville.

Among her many accomplishments are completing an Outward Bound course in North Carolina, studying with the National Outdoor Leadership School in Kenya, Africa, where she lived with Masai warriors, running the outing club at the University of North Carolina (hiking, canoeing, rock climbing, etc.), and serving as a Brownie Troop leader.

Haris has recently produced her very own Yoga DVD. Over the last 10 years Haris has taught kids yoga in her own Yoga Studio, in the school system, to brownie troops, to the underprivileged, in a tropical garden, on television, at numerous music festivals, and to her students as a 4th grade hebrew school teacher where she taught “Shal-OMM” yoga. Haris is also a certified Prenatal Yoga instructor and she teaches at Eckerd College, for the NOAA and runs her own Kids Yoga teachers training.
